West Jakarta Mayor, Anas Effendi, said the operation is routinely held after Eid. It is aimed to direct newcomers obeying population regulation.

Population Operation Held in Putri Island ResortHe predicted that the number of resident living at eight sub-districts in West Jakarta is increasing every year It is predicted that newcomer number is 15 thousand people, 8,000 men and 7,000 women.
Meanwhile, West Jakarta Head Sub-dept. of Population and Civil Registration, M. Hatta, admitted his side focusing the operation in Cengkareng Timur Urban Village, Cengkareng Sub-district.
“Operation will be held at RT 06/14 area. Our target is dormitory houses,” he stated.
